One skein of Bargain Bunny
needed, Classic or Glamour Bunny are not recommended.
One set of size 3 double pointed needles.
Cast on 44 stitches. Divide among three needles.
Work knit 2, purl 2 ribbing for 2 1/2 inches.
Change to stockinette stitch (knit every row) and work three
rows even.
Begin increasing for the thumb on the next row by increasing in
the first stitch, knit one, increase in the next stitch, knit to
end.
Work two rows even.
Increase in first stitch on next row, knit three stitches,
increase in next stitch, knit to end.
Work two rows even.
Continue increasing for thumb as started until you have 13
stitches between the two increase stitches.
Work two rows even after last increase.
Slip 15 thumb stitches to holders at beginning of next row, cast
on three stitches and work even on hand stitches above
separation for thumb for 1 1/2 inches (or to desired length).
Work four rows of knit 2, purl 2 ribbing. Bind off.
Place thumb stitches on needles, pick up 5 stitches along hand,
work thumb stitches even for 1 inch (or to desired length).
Work four rows of knit 2, purl 2 ribbing. Bind off.
